Nancy Brady Cunningham

Nancy Brady Cunningham is a poet, performer, and writer. In 1998 she founded the poet’s theater troupe IYANU, a multi-media performance group.
Through IYANU, Nancy has presented her original piece about the ancient Greek poet, Sappho, as well as excerpts from Inanna Queen of Heaven and Earth, and various other original pieces of poetry connected to ancient stories of the Goddess. She has appeared with IYANU at Club Passim, Cape Cod Community College, First Night Boston, Cambridge Center Poetry Festival and at various coffee houses in the Boston area.
In addition she has been the featured poet at many Southeastern Massachusetts and Boston area venues. Also Nancy has read her poetry at Shakespeare and Company bookstore in Paris, France.
She performed her original work called “Sappho of Lesbos” in Lesbos, Greece and also in Toronto, Canada.

Nancy's most recent performance was as Sappho in Tom Daley's POETRY VAUDVILLE SHOW in Boston, March '08.
